Research Interests: I am presently studying the structure and dynamics of 2-D colloids at interfaces. The experimental techniques I use are video microscopy to image the colloids, and holographic optical tweezers to trap and move the colloids at will (this is work been done at the Weeks lab, and the Koehler lab). The ultimate goal is to study the melting phase transitions of these two-dimensional systems. I am also interested in the microrheology of biological molecules at interfaces.
