SNPs, STRs, Populations, Phoenicians, and Genetic Impact of other Historical Events

Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms and Microsatellites such as Simple Tandem Repeats mark the genetic history of the movements of humans over the planet. This talk will explore some of the implications of mutations, the Wright-Fisher model, coalescence, and their consequences in identifying movements of Phoenicians and other populations from and through Lebanon.
