Program
Summary
An exciting and
diverse program will highlight our magnetic resonance
strengths in the Southeast US, in combination with
contributions from guests from outside of the region.
Several investigators new to the Southeast will be featured.
A special session will showcase the contributions of nuclear
and electron magnetic resonance to the molecular-level
understanding of amyloid protein diseases, including
prion-associated and Alzheimer's diseases. The Saturday
evening program will feature a pair of lively magnetic
resonance imaging talks, followed by the Poster
Session.
Graduate student and
postdoctoral researcher contributions are particulary
encouraged. The top three posters from graduate students and
postdocs will receive a cash prize, and the presenters will
have the opportunity to give short talks during the Sunday
sessions.
