Directions to the Physics Department

The Physics Department is located on the second floor of the north wing of the Mathematics and Science Center. It is on the Emory Shuttle A, D, and Night routes.

All classes are taught in the building.

To reach Emory by car from the airport:
The airport is located in the southwest section of the city,
approximately 25 minutes from the Emory University campus. Visitors driving from the airport should take I-85 North. To Emory from Interstate 85 North, take the exit for I-20 East. A few miles east on I-20 take the Moreland Ave. exit north; note that this is the second exit for Moreland Ave, and the first exit would take you south. Take Moreland north; after a while it changes names and becomes Briarcliff. Go approximately 4 miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right and follow North Decatur Road one mile to the Oxford Road intersection. Make a soft left into the main entrance of the University. The Mathematics and Science Center Building is the second building on the left. Admissions Visitors may park in the lot behind the building. The entrance to the lot is just before the first building on the left, the B. Jones building. All other visitors should continue past the Mathematics and Science Center (on left), to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Turn right at the stop sign onto Pierce Drive, then turn left at the next stop sign onto Fraternity Row to Peavine Parking Deck on the left. Visitor Parking for Peavine is immediately on your left BEFORE the parking deck.
