Physics Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Fellows

Emory Physics undergraduate students, Leon Tare and Brady Wu, were awarded a prestigious fellowship as part of Emory's Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program. Brady’s research in Prof. Justin Burton’s laboratory addressed the properties of hydrogels on smooth surfaces. Leon studied the looping of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in protein-crowded solution environments with Prof. Laura Finzi and Dr. David Dunlap. Recently, they presented their research at the annual SURE Student Symposium. Brady, who is entering his junior year, and Leon, who is entering his senior year, plan to continue their productive research.
