Minsu Kim receives Cottrell Scholar Award

Professor Minsu KimAssistant Professor Minsu Kim has been selected as a recipient of a Cottrell Scholar Award. This award recognizes faculty who excels in both teaching and research, and is among the most prestigious fellowships for beginning faculty in the sciences. The selection process is very competitive, with only a 14% funding rate this year. This award comes with $100,000 to support further development as a teacher-scholar. Dr. Minsu Kim plans to use this award to investigate novel mechanisms for phenotypic switching in bacteria and to develop new courses for the biophysics program.
