Harutyunyan Research 2014
Dr. Hayk Harutyunyan joined the Department of Physics in the fall of 2014.
His general area of research interests is the light-matter interaction at the nanoscale. In particular, he is interested in plasmonics, nanoscale nonlinear optical phenomena and carbon nanophotonics. By combining the field enhancement provided by metal nanoparticles with linear and nonlinear optical properties of nanomaterials we seek to develop new approaches for controlling and manipulating the energy flow at the nanoscale.
