Emory University Department of Physics seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in Experimental Physics beginning fall 2009. The Department of Physics is currently building research strengths in two areas, soft condensed matter and biophysics, as part of an ongoing departmental expansion following our recent move into new research and teaching facilities. Candidates who complement one or both of these areas will be given preference, but strong applicants in any field of physics are invited to apply. Candidates are expected to establish an independent, externally funded research program, and to be committed to excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
