Eric Weeks elected as Fellow of the American Physical Society

The American Physical Society has elected Professor Eric Weeks as a Fellow of the American Physical Society. Eric was cited for "innovative experiments and significant contributions in nonlinear dynamics and soft condensed matter physics, including the colloidal glass transition, soft matter rheology, and development of confocal microscopy dynamic imaging." Eric also serves as the Vice Chair of the Statistical Physics Division at APS.

Eric is a member of the Experimental Condensed Matter Physics group in the Department. For more about Eric's research, see his website.
