General Area: Experimental soft condensed matter physics.

Current Research: As a member of the Weeks Research Group, I study colloidal phase transitions. Specifically, I use hard-sphere colloidal suspensions to study the confinement effect and the rotational diffusion of anisotropic particles. Also, I am very interested in self-assembling colloidal materials and other complex materials. The link above will take you to a brief description of my past research projects at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
